ph3QUALITY MANAGER /h3h3Role Purpose /h3pThe Qualified Person (QP) is responsible for ensuring that medicinal products are manufactured, tested, certified, and released in full compliance with applicable GMP regulations and regulatory requirements. The role acts as a key quality representative within the site, fostering a strong quality culture while balancing compliance and operational needs. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform batch certification and release in accordance with applicable pharmaceutical regulations. /liliEnsure ongoing GMP compliance across manufacturing and quality operations. /liliReview and manage deviations, non-conformances, CAPAs, and customer complaints. /liliSupport and participate in internal, external, and supplier audits. /liliCollaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Site Leadership teams. /liliLead interactions with regulatory authorities during inspections, including AIFA and other health authorities. /liliPromote continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems and regulatory compliance. /liliProvide guidance and influence decision-making to ensure an appropriate balance between operational requirements and compliance obligations. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliValid bAIFA Qualified Person Eligibility Certificate /b. /liliDegree inbPharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (CTF), /bor a related scientific discipline. /liliRegistration with the bOrder of Chemists /b or bPharmaceutical Chemists and Technologists /b (may be completed after joining the company). /li /ulh3Required Experience /h3ullib7-10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry /b. /liliExperience working in bGMP-regulated manufacturing sites /b. /liliStrong background in bQuality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, or Compliance /b functions. /liliProven experience managing supplier audits, deviations, non-conformances, CAPAs, and complaints. /liliExperience withinbAPI (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) /benvironments is considered highly relevant and valuable. /li /ulh3Key Competencies /h3ulliStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. /liliAbility to build effective relationships across Quality, Manufacturing, and Leadership teams. /liliExcellent negotiation, mediation, and influencing capabilities. /liliPragmatic approach with strong compliance awareness. /liliFlexibility, empathy, and sound judgment in complex situations. /liliConfidence in managing regulatory inspections and establishing constructive relationships with inspectors. /liliGood command of English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication with European colleagues and international inspectors. /li /ulh3Ideal Candidate Profile /h3ulliProfessional with approximately b2-3 years of experience as a Deputy Qualified Person /b and the potential to grow into a fully autonomous QP role. /liliWilling to relocate to the Verona area; daily commuting from distant locations is not considered sustainable. /liliAble to work effectively with senior stakeholders and plant leadership, balancing business objectives with regulatory requirements. /liliCollaborative, resilient, and capable of operating in a dynamic manufacturing environment while maintaining the highest quality standards. /li /ulh3About Ecolab: /h3pAt Ecolab, we prioritize our talent-first philosophy by creating the most capable and diverse team to excel at our nearly threemillion customer sites.
