Raw Materials Research Specialist Shoes

Position

The position is located in Fermo. Within the Shoes Product Development Office, the candidate will follow all the activities related to the materials research (Leather, Fabrics), considering both stylistic and production needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the style office for the stylistic trends and to check research results;
• Materials research and development;
• Define a raw materials development specification;
• Collaborate with Quality Department in order to define the technical aspects, testing activities for raw material and to verify compliance according to the company's qualitative parameters;
• Use the database to register the technical data sheets of materials shared with suppliers;
• Monitor the orders of samples leather;
• Control the quality and follow the industrialization of raw materials;
• Anticipating and managing production issues, proposing solutions when required.

Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Product Management or in a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in the role and in the fashion industry;
• An experience in industrialization of leather is considered a plus;
• Excellent knowledge of materials (Leather and Fabric) and of production processes;
• Strong attention to new trends and research;
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point);
• Knowledge of Stealth 3000 and Model Form is a plus;
• Excellent communication skills, attention to details and high level of accuracy;.
• Problem solving;
• Flexibility and pro-activity;
• Good knowledge of Italian and English;
• Team working;
• Passion for Fashion and Luxury.

Additional Information

For new joiners for this role in Italy, the annual gross salary associated with this position is EUR 44.000.

This is only the initial annual gross salary granted to this position. This figure has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria and reflects the starting salary normally applicable to the position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs.

This role is also eligible for bonuses, subject to Fendi's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.

This position is subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Calzature Industria) applicable to the role and applied by Fendi in Italy.
