In this role you will help clients unlock value through deal strategy across pre- and post-deal phases. You will work with shareholders, management and lenders to define value-creation initiatives and monitor progress. The position sits in Bologna within the Deal Strategy team, focusing on strategic planning, due diligence, integration, and performance improvement. You will apply data-driven analyses to shape recommendations and support execution, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. • Support business and strategic planning with executive stakeholders to quantify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor financial performance and drive corrective actions with CFOs and strategy teams.
• Conduct business and commercial due diligence assessing markets, dynamics and competition.
• Identify and track synergies; design and implement synergy tracking models.
• Contribute to Day-1 readiness, post-deal integration planning, and operating model definition.
• Support value creation initiatives through assessment, execution, and monitoring in pre- and post-deal phases.

Responsabilità

• 3–4 years in a strategy consulting firm or strategy/business development function with focus on revenue growth.
• Master's degree in business-related subjects; postgraduate studies in data science, business analytics or digital innovation are a plus.
• Strong interest in M&A activities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial and operational data and KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
• Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of data & analytics tools (Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.
