Overview
Experteer Overview As a Field Service Engineer, you deliver expert hands-on installation, commissioning, maintenance, fault-finding and customer support for Bruker’s microbiology and diagnostic instruments. You operate mainly in Italy with opportunities for international travel, contributing to customer satisfaction and the company’s service reputation. You’ll work within the Customer Service team to ensure efficient, high-quality system performance and on-site training. This role combines technical problem-solving with client-facing activity in a fast-evolving field.Benefits
- Familiarize with instrumentation before installation using factory docs and tests
- Coordinate with customers and colleagues during site planning for installations
- Install, configure, test, and validate systems to meet specifications and provide basic operator training
- Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance at customer sites
- Deliver technical, software and application support to customers and colleagues (including remote diagnosis)
- Validate systems to certifiable standards and ensure documentation is up to date
- Provide technical input to the sales team in non-routine sales scenarios
- Frequent domestic travel within Italy; occasional international travel within Europe
- Qualification in Electronic Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related field (or equivalent experience in Mass Spectrometry)
- Solid technical or scientific background with ability to continuously learn in a fast-moving field
- Field service experience and proven ability to build trust-based customer relationships
- Valid driving license in Italy
- No visa restrictions for travel to USA/EU
- Good computer literacy and familiarity with data system hardware and common OS
- Self-motivated, team player with strong communication skills in English and Italian
- Qualification in Electronic Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related field (or equivalent experience in Mass Spectrometry)
