The Long-Term Service Agreements are a cornerstone of the Baker Hughes strategy to provide a mutually beneficial superior Customer service ensuring stable and profitable business growth. The Customer Application Engineer is a key role in the Commercial Service organization being responsible for defining, preparing, and managing the technical portion of the LTSAs proposals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze technical specifications from Customers, defining and preparing the service Scope of Work, ensuring accurate cost control, and managing technical risks.
  
• Estimate OPEX costs for existing and new technologies , collaborate with commercial and sales teams to optimize proposals, and support negotiations with customers on technical aspects.
  
• Work closely with the region al commercial team as a key partner in the strategy development to create the most competitive and winning proposal .
  

Fuel your passion

To be successfull in this role you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in technical field from an accredited college or university
  

• 0 - 4 years of industry experience in a role as Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Application Engineer o r Project Manager
  

• Fluent spoken and written English
  

• Traveling with short notice
  

Desired:

• Master's degree in engineering with focus on turbo-machinery from an accredited college or university
  

• Specific O&G market knowledge and experience is strongly recommended
  

• Good knowledge of rotating machineries , particularly of Gas Turbines
  

• Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize and manage time
  

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
  

• Willing to work in a team
  

• Able to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors
  

• Able to work autonomously, takes lead in developing complex solutions, under pressure and with tight deadlines
  

• GB/BB certified
