New Product Quality Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a new resource to provide support in the Quality Platform Projects team.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

• Work closely with Engineering throughout the development of the new product.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of all technical contents.
• Verify and support the proper execution of FMEAs and integration in DVPs.
• Collaborate closely with Product Validation during all test phases.
• Thoroughly understand issues, contribute to problem solving, and ensure effective resolution.
• Monitor the correct implementation of solutions and their alignment with project milestones.
• Assess the robustness and reliability of technical solutions contents.
• Maintain awareness of past projects, lessons learned, known risks, and previously identified issues in alignment with Current Quality Team.
• During industrialization and launch, train and align the Current Quality Team, transfer knowledge of the new vehicle, and support network management activities.
• Manage daily issues in the DIM system, ensuring completeness of each phase and adherence to timelines.
• Lead weekly follow-up meetings.
• Additionally, where required: Ensure strong knowledge of electric vehicles and their operating logic.
• Collaborate with Launch Mgmt and Plant Quality Team During Vehicle Launch and Industrialization Phase.

Requirements:

• Successful completed University degree in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
• At least 3 years of working experience, ideally on Engineering or Validation
• Knowledge in components for heavy trucks and general commercial vehicle technologies
• Advanced software skills: MS-Office, BI, ASIST, SAP
• English fluent written and spoken, knowledge of Italian / Spanish language would be an additional advantage
• Knowledge of technical documentation (design, layout, drawing) and manufacturing techniques and materials
• Ability to travel 30%-40%
