Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world. /ppbYou will join our Milan or Rome Office /b /ppAs our new risk assessor, you will be part of our successful team composed by geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc. working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability. You will contribute to a sustainable future in an open, collaborative and empowering culture. /ppThe successful candidate will support the Project Manager in the technical and operational management of site characterisation, risk assessment, and remediation projects for contaminated sites, following the various stages of the environmental procedure pursuant to Article 242 of Legislative Decree 152/2006 and contributing to the preparation of technical documentation, the coordination of field activities, and engagement with project stakeholders. /ppYour key tasks and responsibilities will be: /pulliSupport the Project Manager in planning and coordinating project activities /liliContribute to the preparation of site characterisation plans, risk assessments, remediation designs, and technical feasibility evaluations; /liliData analysis and elaboration /liliLiaise with laboratories, subcontractors, authorities, clients, and multidisciplinary teams /liliDrafting expert reports within remediation project; /liliProposal and reporting in Italian or English language /liliHelp ensure compliance with project quality, schedule, budget, and HSE requirements /li /ulpbYour starting point for constant growth /b /ppFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is: /pulliCandidates should have a Master level university degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related disciplines; /liliRelevant experience in site characterisation and remediation, as well as human health and environmental risk assessment for contaminated sites; /liliKnowledge of Italian environmental regulations relating to contaminated sites, with particular reference to Legislative Decree 152/06 /liliIdeally proficient user of ArcGIS/AutoCAD; /liliExperience of field work and data analysis; /liliCapable of producing clear and concise written documents in Italian language (mother tongue); /liliAbility to communicate effectively in written and spoken English. /li /ulpPersonal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: highly organized and able to work efficiently and effectively to deadlines on designated tasks; demonstrated attention to details and a high level of accuracy; academic rigor; self-motivated, reliable and dedicated individual.
