Desktop Developer

TXT E-Tech , part of the TXT Group, operating in the Aerospace sector and specifically in the field of real-time simulation and data acquisition systems, is looking for Software Developer profiles responsible for the design and development of software solutions for an important client.

The role will work closely with software and system engineers, contributing to the development, integration, and validation of software solutions used for testing and verification of onboard systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of software applications for Hardware-in-the-Loop systems;
• Collaborate on the development and maintenance of desktop applications;
• Participate in the configuration of development and testing environments;
• Contribute to the development of emulators and simulators for onboard systems;
• Support system integration and qualification activities;
• Collaborate in the development and execution of automated tests using scripting languages;
• Participate in the production and updating of technical documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields;
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems;
• Knowledge of C and/or C++;
• Understanding of software engineering principles and software lifecycle;
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git or equivalent);
• Basic knowledge of the .NET framework and C#;
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, Lua, or similar);
• Good command of English.

Nice to Have

• University projects related to embedded, real-time, or simulation systems;
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
• Familiarity with Docker;
• Interest in the Aerospace & Defence sector;
• Introductory knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
