ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bTechnology Innovation, Strategy and Roadmapping Consultant - Categorie Protette 68/99 /b to join its office in Genoa, Italy to join its office in Genoa within the bSustainability and Business Innovation /b Division. /ph3Mission /h3pThe Consultant takes on a leadership position within the team, with responsibility for the technical management of projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Technology Innovation, Strategy Roadmapping, they oversee the technical progress of the engagements they are assigned to: framing the client's problem, structuring the analytical approach, coordinating the contributions of the consultants involved, and ensuring the quality and consistency of the deliverables. /ppDepending on the project, the role ranges from hands-on analytical work to technical coordination and internal reference point. They also act as a technical counterpart for the client and contribute to proposal preparation and business development. /ppIn particular, the person in this role will work on and coordinate management consulting projects in the following areas: /pulliTechnology scenario analysis, market analysis and trend identification, value chain analysis, technology scouting, KPI definition, benchmarking and implementation roadmaps; /liliSupply chain optimisation, supplier scouting and benchmarking; /liliProcess optimisation; /liliBusiness Continuity Plan; /liliSupport to subsidised finance schemes (e.g. IPCEI, Innovation Fund, PNRR) from application to compliance during the project execution phase; /liliEU-funded RD projects (e.g. Horizon Europe, LIFE). /li /ulh3Key Accountabilities /h3ulliProject Delivery /liliManage the technical execution of assigned consulting projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline and budget. /liliCoordinate the consultants working on the project and help them integrate contributions into a consistent final output. /liliContribute directly to the analytical work where required by the nature and size of the project. /liliTechnical Quality /liliEnsure the methodological soundness and quality of analyses, deliverables and client presentations. /liliAct as internal technical reference point for the team on assigned projects. /liliClient Management /liliAct as technical counterpart for the client throughout the engagement, managing day-to-day interactions and expectations. /liliPresent findings and recommendations to client stakeholders. /liliProposals and Business Development /liliSupport the Head of Discipline in the preparation of technical proposals, including scoping, methodology definition and effort estimation. /liliIdentify opportunities for follow-on work within existing client relationships. /liliTeam Development /liliMentor junior consultants on assigned projects, supporting their technical and professional growth. /li /ulh3Education /h3pMaster's Degree in Engineering General /ph3Qualifications /h3ulliMandatory requirement: Registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99 (collocamento mirato) /lili4-6 years of experience in management consulting, or in a corporate role (e.g. RD, innovation, strategy, technology) involving work on multiple projects in parallel. /liliExperience in coordinating project activities and resources, managing deadlines and interfacing with multiple stakeholders. /liliAbility to present analytical outputs effectively and concisely, tailoring the level of detail to different audiences up to senior management. /liliStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to structure complex and poorly defined problems. /liliTechnical or engineering background, enabling a solid understanding of the technological content of the projects. /liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English. /liliExperience in client relationship management. /li /ulh3Will be considered a Plus /h3ulliExperience with EU-funded RD programmes or subsidised finance schemes (e.g. Horizon Europe, IPCEI, PNRR). /liliExperience in state-of-the-art and desk research: analysis of scientific literature, technical and market reports, patents, and open-source information, with the ability to synthesise fragmented sources into a coherent picture. /liliExperience in mentoring or coordinating junior consultants.Familiarity with one or more of the sectors covered by the team. /li /ulh3Competencies /h3ulliWORKPLACE DYNAMICS - Resourcefulness in shaping progress and working efficiently. /liliPERSONAL EMPOWERMENT - Ownership for life, work and results, striving to grow professionally and personally. /liliINTERPERSONAL INFLUENCE - Skills and strategies we use to interact effectively with others. /liliDOMAIN BUSINESS ACUMEN - Applying a scientific approach and critical thinking in operations and solution development within area of expertise. /liliFORESIGHT INSIGHT - Context awareness adopting a systemic perspective and informed decision making. /li /ulh3Compensation Benefits /h3pThe salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with bCCNL RINA /b (CNEL code I480). /ppThe gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€35,000 and €45,000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate's professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.
