Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities

• Supplier management and development, performance assessment and monitoring.
• Dual sourcing, sourcing in Italy, the EU and outside the EU, market analysis and benchmarking.
• Negotiating framework agreements and monitoring contractual terms.
• Defining and monitoring cost-reduction plans.
• Optimising stock levels and indirect costs.
• Coordinating the Procurement team in an operational capacity.
• Driving innovation within the function through spend analysis, digitalisation, data analysis and AI.

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years’ experience in industrial procurement.
• Knowledge of metallurgy, mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic components and pneumatics.
• English at B2+ level, proficiency in Excel and AI tools.
• Analytical mindset and experience in team coordination.
• Willingness to travel.

Omso S.p.A., a leading and well-known company operating in the sector of automatic machines for printing on objects, is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join its team at its headquarters in Reggio Emilia. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in the development of the Purchasing function, with the aim of ensuring the availability, cost and quality of materials for production orders, expanding the supplier base and contributing to profit margins and the reduction of working capital.

Offer

Senior manager – National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry. Gross annual salary: €40,000 to €50,000, depending on experience.
