The role is responsible for managing, in an integrated way, risks related to energy markets. The successful candidate will join the Risk Management Team, reporting directly to the Head of Risk Insurance Management. Working closely with the Energy Markets teams, the Energy Risk Manager will support the execution of risk control procedures and deliver ad hoc risk analyses to support decision-making across Energy Management processes (Dispatching, Trading and Hedging activities, PPA and Counterparty analysis). /ph3Responsibilities and Duties /h3ulliConduct independent analyses of trading and hedging strategies, highlighting the key risk factors underlying portfolio management activities, consistent with outputs from risk tools and market data. /liliWork closely with the Energy Management team to develop and maintain risk metrics and ensure effective risk monitoring and reporting (daily and monthly), in line with internal policies and limits (VaR, PaR, PL, MtM, stop-loss levels, secured/unsecured portfolio ratios). /liliSupport PPA and counterparty risk analysis, including risk allocation review and exposure monitoring. /liliEnsure the accuracy and reliability of risk systems and data flows, overseeing key tools such as ETRM, Power BI sales portfolio tools, and relevant industrial/project risk tools. /li /ulh3Key Job Requirements /h3ulliSolid experience in risk management practices and European energy markets (power, gas, PPAs), including forward curves and forecasting concepts. /liliKnowledge of key risk metrics and methods (VaR, PaR, exposure, Monte Carlo simulations) and portfolio risk analysis. /liliAbility to perform root cause analysis, identify trends, and recommend remediation actions. /liliAbility to work independently and effectively in a complex, international environment, engaging with multiple stakeholders. /liliStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. /li /ulh3Qualifications and Skills /h3ulliMinimum 3 years\' experience in energy risk management and market/portfolio analysis within an energy company (Utility, IPP, or Trading). /liliUniversity degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or other STEM disciplines. /liliKnowledge of ETRM software, Power BI, and database systems. /liliGood coding skills (Python; VBA and SQL are a plus) and strong analytical capabilities. /liliFluent in English is a must. /li /ulh3Pay and benefits /h3pAt Nadara, we\'re committed to creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow. /ppOur rewards package reflects that commitment, including flexible ways of working, continuous learning and development opportunities, and initiatives focused on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. /ppWe recognise effort and dedication, and we make sure it\'s matched with fair pay and meaningful benefits - join us and be part of an international renewable energy company that invests in both your personal and professional growth. /ph3Equality and equity /h3pNadara is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, deeply committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
