ppPacific International is partnering with a pioneering clean-technology company to appoint a Project Finance Commercial Development Manager. As the organisation accelerates the deployment of utility-scale energy storage projects across Europe, this role will play a key part in supporting commercial partnerships, project financing activities, and project development initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will help advance strategic projects from early‑stage development through to financial close. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Commercial Development Market Expansion /h3ulliEngage senior stakeholders across utilities, IPPs, developers, and industrials to drive new commercial opportunities. /liliBuild and manage a strong pipeline of long‑duration storage and clean‑energy infrastructure projects across EMEA. /liliPosition the organisation as a preferred partner for large, grid‑connected energy solutions. /li /ulh3Strategic Partnerships Commercial Structuring /h3ulliNegotiation and structuring of long‑term agreements (PPAs, storage contracts, development partnerships, JV frameworks). /liliDevelop tailored commercial solutions for customers with complex grid or operational requirements. /li /ulh3Project Finance Financial Structuring /h3ulliStructure non‑recourse financing for utility‑scale energy assets. /liliBuild, validate, and optimise financial models for investment and lender decision‑making. /liliManage lenders and investors (banks, ECAs, DFIs, infrastructure funds) through due diligence to financial close. /li /ulh3Market Insight Commercial Strategy /h3ulliApply expertise in energy markets, capacity mechanisms, and grid‑services revenue models. /liliSupport SPV setup, commercial frameworks, and partnership structures to ensure bankability. /liliDrive commercial optimisation and risk‑allocation strategies across major projects. /li /ulh3Ideal Candidate Profile /h3ulliExperience across engineering, commercial development, and project finance for large energy or infrastructure projects. /liliStrong track record negotiating complex agreements with utilities, IPPs, EPCs, or major industrials. /liliProven experience executing non‑recourse financing for utility‑scale assets. /liliStrategic, analytical, and influential with senior stakeholders. /liliThrives in a dynamic, growth‑driven environment with a focus on innovation and commercial execution. /li /ulh3Diversity Statement /h3pAt Pacific International, diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the core of who we are and what we do.
