The role

We are hiring a Head of Growth to own how the world discovers PTDJA and to run the entire acquisition machine, hands on: paid media across multiple countries, the conversion funnel from click to paid member, trial nurture, and the experimentation engine that improves all of it every week. You will lower our cost per acquisition while growing paying members month after month, and you will build and lead the acquisition organization. SEO, content and organic report into you through dedicated leads; the funnel is yours personally. You report directly to the CEO.

Blended CPA down, paying members and ARR up every month, with a diversified, defensible acquisition mix that does not depend on a single channel.

What you will own

• Paid acquisition, multi country: Meta, Google and TikTok across Europe, the US and Latin America, with full budget ownership and CPA and payback accountability.
• The conversion funnel, end to end: website and landing pages, a structured A/B testing program, trial funnel and trial to paid optimization, checkout friction.
• Top of funnel CRM: lead capture, trial nurture flows and marketing automation that convert trials into paying members.
• Growth strategy and experimentation: the hypothesis backlog, a weekly test and learn cadence, and growth initiatives across the whole journey from click to paid.
• Organic acquisition, through your leads: SEO/AEO and the content machine report into this role via dedicated specialists you will manage and help hire.
• The growth budget and the CAC and LTV targets, with weekly cohort reporting and full accountability for spend efficiency.
• Building and leading the acquisition team: paid, funnel/CRO, CRM, SEO and content, most of whom you will hire.

Requirements (must have)

• 8+ years in growth, performance or acquisition marketing, with at least 3 years leading a growth function and a team of 4+.
• Consumer subscription experience with revenue accountability: you have owned MRR/ARR targets, trial funnels, cohort and LTV math. Not primarily B2B, enterprise or pure ecommerce.
• You have already done the scale up: you personally lived the growth from roughly €1M to €10M+ ARR (or equivalent) in a senior growth seat at a consumer company.
• Hands on paid across Meta, Google and ideally TikTok, in multiple countries and languages, having personally owned significant monthly budgets. You can still open the ad account and run it.
• CRO and funnel craft: landing pages, A/B tests with real methodology, and trial to paid improvements you can state with numbers (from X% to Y%).
• CRM and marketing automation for trial nurture and conversion (any major platform).
• A track record of measurable results: you can show how you moved CPA, conversion or ARR, with numbers and your specific role.
• Fluent English (working language). Based in Rome or willing to relocate; able to work on site / hybrid.

• Education, online learning or edtech subscription background; or music, audio and creator economy.
• Multi language growth into Latin America or Iberia.
• Scale up environments from Seed to Series B, comfortable being both strategic and hands on.
• Evidence of creative and brand taste alongside funnel discipline: your ads would not embarrass a culture driven brand.
• Free trial and freemium funnels across web and app; AI driven marketing.
• Working Italian (or willingness to learn).
