Site: La Spezia (on-site). Salary: RAL 30K – 50K, based on experience.
Role OverviewYou will work on hard and soft real-time software for advanced systems in the Defence and Aerospace domain.
Tasks include integration of subsystems, software development for control platforms and onboard systems, and testing on target platforms.
You will join structured technical teams and contribute concretely to integration and testing on hardware platforms, development of validation simulators, debugging communication interfaces (Ethernet, serial, protocols), requirements analysis and software validation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (systems engineers, hardware, test).

We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- 2–5 years of development in C/C++
- Experience with embedded and/or real-time systems
- Familiarity with Linux or RTOS
- Ability to work on integration and debugging
- Experience with RTOS (VxWorks, PikeOS or similar)
- Knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, RS232/422, etc.)
- Experience in safety‑critical contexts
- Knowledge of tools such as DOORS / Polarion
- Familiarity with MISRA standards
