We want to offer the best People Flow™ experience to those using our equipment in residential and office buildings, hotels, public transportation sites, hospitals, shopping malls, and many other special buildings. /p pbThis position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave. /b /p pThe successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team and ensuring business continuity throughout the duration of the assignment. /p pKONE Purchasing is a global organization of purchasing and supplier management experts responsible for direct and indirect material and service sourcing for KONE. /p pWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced bPurchasing Specialist /b to join our dynamic Projects and Modernization Purchasing team in the KONE Global Direct Material Europe Purchasing organization. /p pAs a Purchasing Specialist, you will focus on direct materials procurement initiatives for Modernization as well as the Control Systems and Networks Solutions Devices categories. /p pThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.br/Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to succeed in this position. /p pThis position is based in bCadrezzate con Osmate (VA), Italy /b. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul lipManage all procurement activities including supplier contracts, price negotiations, and RFQ management for your own area of responsibility /p /li lipAct as the contract owner for direct material suppliers and support the implementation of global/area category plans /p /li lipIdentify and drive new cost savings initiatives to support profitability /p /li lipManage supplier quality and on-time delivery in collaboration with the stakeholders. /p /li lipReport monthly key performance indicators and manage budgets, forecasts, and savings for own area of responsibility. /p /li lipDrive cross-functional cost reduction initiatives in collaboration with Engineering, RD, and Operations stakeholders. /p /li lipSupport the implementation and execution of cost-saving initiatives across the product lifecycle. /p /li lipMonitor and report cost performance against budget targets in collaboration with RD and key stakeholders. /p /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul lipB.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, supply chain management, or business) /p /li lip3 or more years’ work experience in procurement /p /li lipExperience in leading supplier negotiations and managing supplier relationships with local, regional, and global suppliers /p /li lipKnowledge of electrification and/or electronics supply markets and technology is an asset /p /li lipAbility to work independently and effectively in a multinational environment /p /li lipFluent English and Italian other languages are an asset /p /li lipWillingness to travel /p /li /ul h3Employment Terms /h3 ul lipEmployment under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry /p /li lipGross annual salary starting from €40,000, commensurate with experience and skills /p /li lipThe compensation package is complemented by variable incentives and company benefits /p /li /ul h3Why Join Us /h3 pThis position offers a unique opportunity to learn and improve your skills within the area of purchasing and support your professional growth.br/Every day is different and provides many opportunities to learn and improve your skills within the area of procurement and support you in your professional growth.
