SENIOR PROPERTY UNDERWRITER

Overview

In this role you will lead regional Property underwriting for Southern Europe from Milano, driving profitable new and renewal business. You will collaborate with clients, brokers, and a global team to shape personalized property solutions and strategic portfolios. You will own large accounts, steer pipelines, and contribute to regional and global LoB strategy development. The role offers scope to influence market relationships, pricing, and terms while aligning with AGCS's cross-functional underwriting process. This is an opportunity to impact risk selection and growth within a premier, international insurer.

Responsabilità

• Develop and execute the Property Line of Business (LoB) regional strategy and support global LoB strategy
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients
• Own large accounts and take ultimate responsibility for them
• Manage local portfolio, create pipelines, and perform portfolio analyses
• Support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business, including negotiations
• Coordinate with local Distribution to implement strategic plans
• Externally communicate Regional LoB strategy in Italy with Market Contacts and Distribution
• Represent AGCS internally and externally, promoting cross-functional underwriting involvement

Requisiti fondamentali

• 7+ years of relevant experience in underwriting, brokering, or equivalent in Property insurance
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in an international matrix organization
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to assess risks, coverages, terms and conditions and translate into an insurance offer
