Purchasing Specialist

Role Description:

The candidate will be part of the purchasing department and will be responsible for managing the procurement of custom commodities, ensuring alignment between demand and supply.

Key responsibilities include :

• Analyzing purchase proposals generated by the MRP, setting priorities, and coordinating with suppliers to obtain order confirmations.
• Evaluating and managing requests for changes related to customer demand (advances, delays, cancellations).
• Monitoring and updating delivery dates in the company’s management system.
• Supporting the SQE in managing returns for non-compliant materials.
• Negotiating prices and purchase terms with local and global suppliers.

Requirements:

Hard Skills

• Preferable knowledge of mechanical and plastic components.
• Very good command of the English language
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and company management systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex data.

The role includes:

• Managing purchase proposals, order confirmations, and rescheduling of the backlog.
• Daily communication with Italian and foreign suppliers for technical-commercial details and negotiations.
• Monitoring supplier KPIs to ensure compliance with company standards.
