If you answered yes to these three questions, we may have an opportunity for you! /p pbJob Title: /b Operations Coordinator (Facility Fleet Support – Tuscany Hub)br/bLocation /b : San Giovanni Valdarno, Tuscany, Italybr/bReports To: /b Operations Lead (Tuscany Hub) /p pbJob Overview /b /p ul liAs a full‑time Operations Coordinator (Facility Fleet Support) at Backroads’ Tuscany Hub, you will play a key role in executing the hands‑on operational work that keeps our hub running efficiently. /li liThis role focuses on facility operations, warehouse execution, and fleet support, ensuring that our vans, trailers, equipment, and workspace are always operational and ready for use. /li liYou will work closely with the Unit Loads Coordinator and Fleet Coordinator, supporting critical activities such as van preparation, warehouse organization, Unit Load readiness, and facility maintenance. /li liIf you enjoy hands‑on work, problem solving, and being at the center of operational execution in a dynamic environment, this role is a great fit. /li /ul pbKey Responsibilities /b /p pFacility Warehouse Operations /p ul liMaintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized warehouse and operational spaces /li liExecute daily warehouse activities including staging, storage, and material handling /li liSupport warehouse organization and continuous improvements to layout and usability /li liAssist in maintaining proper storage standards for equipment and operational materials /li /ul pFleet Operations Support (Hands‑On) /p pPerform hands‑on fleet-related tasks, including: /p ul liVan racking and unracking /li liTrailer inspections and basic maintenance /li liHitch adjustments and vehicle configurations /li liSupport the onboarding of new vans: /li liPicking up vehicles /li liCoordinating decals application with external vendors /li liInstalling racks and preparing vans for operational use /li liEnsure vehicles are physically ready and properly configured for Unit Loads and field operations /li /ul pUnit Load Support /p ul liAssist with preparation and execution of Unit Loads /li liSupport equipment staging, packing, and warehouse setup /li liAssist Field Staff during load days and ensure smooth execution /li liEnsure all materials are accessible, organized, and ready for transport /li liFacility Maintenance Improvements /li liPerform small repairs and maintenance tasks using basic tools /li liIdentify and address facility issues proactively /li liSupport implementation of facility improvements and upgrades /liliWork with external contractors when needed for small projects /li /ul pSeasonal Operations (EOSM Peak Periods)br/Support End-of-Season Maintenance (EOSM), including: /p ul liEquipment handling and organization /li liFacility reset and preparation for the next season /li liAssist with seasonal transitions and operational readiness /li /ul pCollaboration Team Support /p ul liWork closely with Operations Coordinators and OpX team to support daily operations /li liContribute to a positive and efficient team environment /li liProvide flexible support across operational priorities as needed /li /ul pQualifications /p ul liOperations Experience: 1–3 years in warehouse, logistics, facility operations, or similar hands‑on roles preferred /li liHands‑On Skills: Comfortable with physical work, basic tools, and practical problem solving /li liDriving Skills: Valid driver’s license; confident driving vans and handling trailers /li liPractical Mindset: Reliable, proactive, and solution‑oriented when facing operational challenges /li liOrganization: Able to manage tasks, keep spaces organized, and maintain operational standards /li liCommunication: Fluent English required; Fluent Italian preferred /li liPhysical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasksbr/ /li /ul pbAbout Backroads: /b /p pAt Backroads we’re passionate about connecting our guests with so many of the most beautiful places in the world.
