A protagonist in major global strategic programs, it is a technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions, and businesses.Within the **Space Division**, for the Opto-Mechanical & Thermal Engineering Unit, we are looking for an **Optical Engineer** for our **Campi Bisenzio (FI)** office.**The person will be responsible** for managing the analyses necessary to validate an opto-mechanical architecture, such as: tolerancing analysis and alignment plan definition, thermal analysis, straylight analysis.**Education:*** Master's degree in Physics and/or Aerospace Engineering with an Optical specialization.The achievement of a PhD in Physics is a preferred qualification.**Required Experience Level:*** Expert: 3-5 years of experience in the role**Technical skills and knowledge** in the field of Optical Engineering, such as:* Experience in optical design and optical performance analysis, possibly in the aerospace field or electro-optical instrumentation* Ability to analyze and manage requirements* Ability to draft documentation in English* Data analysis and correlation of mathematical models with results.* Preparation of documentation: test and validation reports, specifications, test plans and procedures.Nice to Have:* Stray Light analysis capability* Laboratory experience and use of optical instrumentation**Behavioral skills:*** Results orientation* Problem Solving* Ability to synthesize and effective communication* Team work* Proactivity* Commitment* Research orientation**Language skills:*** English (min.
