Responsabilità

• Define project scope and preliminary plan, including cost, time, and sample requirements based on client input
• Coordinate testing activities, including travel to client sites when needed
• Engage with clients to explain UL procedures, discuss technical issues, negotiate deadlines and sample needs
• Provide technical assistance regarding product inspection and follow-up services
• Establish test programs by reviewing files, samples, and UL requirements
• Examine samples for compliance and inform clients of non-conformities or scope changes
• Coordinate lab activities and manage technicians and engineering support staff
• Handle administrative aspects of project management and keep project records
• Serve as Project Handler of record, and sign as Reviewer of record as assigned
• Communicate project status and results to clients via reports and regular updates
• Prepare Follow-Up Service Procedures and information pages
• Incorporate continuous improvement concepts into all aspects of the job
• Resolve engineering issues related to Variation Notices by evaluating acceptability of changes
• Assist in developing UL requirements and special test methods/equipment as needed
• May perform File Reviews and represent UL at industry events
• Adhere to UL Code of Conduct and security practices
• Perform other duties as directed

Requisiti fondamentali

• Bachelor in Engineering (or related field) and two years of directly related experience
• Detailed knowledge of technical vocabulary in the discipline
• Basic knowledge of laboratory testing apparatus and techniques
