You’ll help us improve, inject innovation and create new ways of working. /ph3Your Role /h3pThe Sr Engineering Manager of Material Innovation serves as the strategic and operational bridge between Product Development, RD, and Operations, ensuring that innovation is translated into industrial solutions quickly, efficiently, and with high quality. This role is responsible for embedding design for manufacturing and design for agility principles into the development process from the earliest stages, so that new products, processes, and technologies are not only innovative, but also scalable, robust, and ready for rapid deployment across manufacturing environments. /ph3What You’ll Do /h3ulliLead the development and deployment of innovative materials that enable product differentiation, improve performance, and support business growth objectives while aligning with long-term innovation and technology roadmaps; /liliEnsure material solutions are developed with manufacturing capabilities and constraints in mind, embedding Design for Manufacturing (DfM) principles from the earliest stages of product and technology development; /liliEvaluate the influence of materials on product quality, process robustness, technology performance, and operational reliability, ensuring solutions are scalable and sustainable at industrial scale; /liliPartner with Product Development, RD, and Operations to reduce industrialization risks, shorten development cycles, and enable rapid implementation of new materials across manufacturing sites; /liliAct as the primary bridge between Innovation, Product Development, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Operations teams, driving alignment and effective decision-making throughout the development lifecycle. /li /ulh3Skills Capabilities /h3ulliOverall 10+ years of experience of which min 5 years in specific functional domain; /lili5+ years solid experience in leading Managers, Engineers, and Technical SMEs, with ability to understand the product and process fundamental requirements, and the associated quality control requirements; /liliBachelor’s degree in Chemical or Material Engineering or similar disciplines; /liliDemonstrated knowledge and experience of designing complex Manufacturing system with application of lean manufacturing; /liliKnowledge of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) in complex Manufacturing systems and the key value drivers for Value Creation; /liliFluency in English, written and spoken, /liliIn this position you will earn no less than 108.738 € gross yearly. /li /ulh3Equal Opportunities Statement /h3pWe believe that diverse perspectives and experiences make us stronger.
