Senior Data Engineer – Software House Line (SHL)

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, development and orchestration of scalable data pipelines to support complex analytical use cases.
• Design of new ETL processes and refactoring of existing ones to increase scalability and reliability.
• Integration of the developed solution into native or hybrid cloud environments.
• Defining specifications and technology choices in collaboration with various team stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.
• At least 1‑2 years of experience in companies, preferably in the financial/insurance sector and in the design and implementation of high‑scalability pipelines to support advanced analytical use‑cases.
• Excellent knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Good knowledge of distributed computing frameworks for Python (e.g. Spark, Dask).
• Good knowledge of Python programming language and computational and statistical libraries and frameworks (e.g. pandas, numpy, …).
• Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Experience in using code versioning systems (Git).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., pytorch, scikit‑learn).
• Knowledge of PaaS and SaaS solutions offered by cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Data Governance techniques, technologies and tools.
• Aptitude for design and development of maintainable, robust, and scalable code including skillful use of design patterns.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker).
• Knowledge of application deployment and orchestration systems (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI‑CD systems (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions…).
• Ability to operate autonomously on Linux based systems.
• Knowledge of workflow management systems (e.g., Dagster, Apache Airflow, Luigi).

Junior Analyst – Portfolio Performance & Risk Analysis

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree with excellent grades in economics/finance, statistics, management, engineering.
• Solid knowledge of the functioning and dynamics of financial markets, the main investment instruments and associated risks.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications, in particular Excel and Power Point, and knowledge of programming languages and applications supporting data analysis and management (e.g., Matlab, Python, Access, VBA).
• Experience in using the main Data Providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, …).
• Short work experience or studies focused on issues related to financial portfolio and balance‑sheet analysis will be an asset.

Soft Skills

• Problem solving.
• Communication skills, autonomy, time management and aptitude for teamwork.
• Good knowledge of English is essential.
• Interest in financial market trends in relation to the current economic environment, together with an aptitude for the practical translation of knowledge acquired at the university environment.

ESG Risk Management Specialist – Enterprise Risk Management

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with excellent grades in economics, finance, statistics or engineering disciplines and solid quantitative knowledge.
• Experience gained and/or skills developed in the ESG risk management field, with particular focus on data collection and data management, measurement, analysis and reporting.
• Thorough knowledge of package (mandatory eExcel, PowerPoint, Word), nice to have programming languages skills (e.g. Python).

Familiarity in

• Analysis of the regulatory environment and best‑practices in ESG risk management for Financial Institutions.
• Analysis and implementation of the main ESG disclosure standards for Financial Institutions (TCFD, TNFD, EU Taxonomy disclosure, EBA‑ESG Pillar 3, …).
• Knowledge of main Banking regulatory reporting templates.
• Corporate sustainability reporting concepts and standards (NFRD, CSRD, EU Taxonomy disclosure, GRI, SASB, …).

Junior Python Software Engineer – Software House Line (SHL)

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop robust and scalable Python code to implement back‑end application components for an analytics platform.
• Participation in continuous improvement of production processes and technology innovation.
• Participation in analysis sharing, problem solving, technical analysis, implementation, testing and documentation activities as part of development projects assigned to the team.
• Application of Lean and Agile practices.
• Join a dynamic and motivated environment, within an established and specialized team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Python for back‑end product development.
• Familiarity with TDD practices, Unit Testing, Continuous Integration.

• Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy and SciPy frameworks.
• Knowledge in managing/modeling NO‑SQL databases (MongoDB), knowledge of technologies and languages in Big Data/ML, Docker/Kubernetes, distributed architecture and/or microservices.
