This role oversees the daily PC operations while supporting the Director of People Culture in shaping and executing strategic initiatives focused on employee experience and engagement. The Assistant Director of PC will deliver comprehensive HR support, collaborating closely with department leaders to address functional needs and drive people-focused solutions. The overarching objective is to position the property as an employer of choice within its destination. /p h3What you will do /h3 h3People Management : /h3 ul liCultural Advocate of the Golden Rule in every employee action /li liLeads efforts to ensure today’s and tomorrow’s talent through commitment to proactive recruitment strategies, performance management and career development processes and discussions, in their hotel /li liAct as an objective 3rd party in employee counselling, problem solving or conflict situation and communicate to Director of People Culture any circumstances that may raise legal issues for the hotel /li liChampions Top Talent. Actively supports succession planning for Top Talent managers. This would include, but not be limited to development plan, job enrichment, and task forces opportunities /li liSupporting the Hotel as a Business Partner and guiding colleagues on PC business partner essentials including but not limited to discipline, benefits, core and culture standards. /li liDrives communication by hosting regular departmental meetings as necessary to support communication needs in their hotel. /li liFosters relationships with others as a coach, provides advice and suggestions that leads others to act in new and more productive ways. /li /ul h3Key Product Drivers /h3 ul liSupports and drives company PC initiatives to ensure successful implantation and compliance. /li liActively supports recruitment, selection, onboarding and development requirements /li liDrives Standards Achievement as a champion for standards achievement through training, testing, campaigns, and initiatives in their hotel. /li liAble to create, forecast, build and execute plans, budgets and policies and is able to drive change proactively /li liSupervise all employee recreation programs, the full life cycle of the employee experience and employee communications /li liCompletes other tasks/projects as assigned by the Director of People Culture. /li /ul h3Financial Management /h3 ul liWorks to ensure that all PC programs, initiatives, including learning resources are delivered under all budgetary circumstances. /li liEvaluates and analyzes the effectiveness of PC programs/initiatives for their added value and/ or return on investment in their hotel /li liWorks to improve labor costs and productivity results in line with Four Seasons business objectives and strategies in their hotel and shares best practices /li liSupports the DPC in analyzing compensation and benefits trends and make recommendations to address the balance between cost of compensation and benefits and the employee experience, when appropriate /li liAble to assist with audits, market studies and trends for all compensation issues in their hotel /li /ul h3What you bring /h3 ul liMinimum 3 years in a related position with Four Seasons or other organization.
