A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved, because it aims to identify and make available those innovative technologies, called enabling technologies, which will ensure the generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, benefiting new generations.As part of the Joint Venture established for the implementation of the GCAP Program, **we are looking for a Supply Chain Security Assurance Specialist for GCAP HQ in Reading (UK).****The place of work will be in READING in the UK for at least 3 years.**OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:The Supply Chain Security Assurance Specialist supports the Supply Chain Security Assurance Lead in addressing current and emerging cyber, physical, personnel, and information security risks for multinational supply chains — including external threats and supplier-related vulnerabilities — that can compromise supply and continuity of supplies, with a significant impact on missions and the Program. The role supports the Supply Chain Security Assurance Manager in activities, including, but not limited to, cooperation with national companies from each participating nation in the Program, ensuring risk mitigation, compliance, and continuous improvement among suppliers. Activities are conducted under the direction of the Supply Chain Security Assurance Manager, the Supply Chain Security Assurance Lead ensuring alignment with the security management plan.RESPONSIBILITIES:The role will be part of the JV's Operations function and will report directly to the Supply Chain Security Assurance Lead Specialist.TASKS:* Maintain, implement and continuously improve supply chain security assurance activities, including assurance processes, to ensure supplier risk management such as identification, assessment, mitigation and escalation of risks.* Conduct/support multi-level supplier security assessments in collaboration with national companies and support due diligence activities for the procurement organization.* Support the planning, coordination and execution of periodic audits and assurance visits.* Support contractual security requirements, including the Security Aspects Letter (SAL), and support the inclusion of security clauses in contractual documents.* Lead/Support the operation and maintenance of supply chain visibility and supplier mapping to ensure risk management and a resilient supply chain, coordinating with internal teams and GCAP security functions.* Collect threat intelligence on the supply chain from suppliers and coordinate with internal teams for analysis and further actions.* Support supplier security incident response activities by facilitating reporting, information sharing and investigative support to achieve immediate response and recovery, increasing program resilience.* Ensure supplier compliance with contractual security requirements through continuous reporting, audits and security tests.* Monitor the effectiveness of security assessments to ensure compliance with established standards and continuous risk mitigation.* Collaborate with the risk management tools team to explore opportunities to use digital tools and automation to improve the efficiency of assurance activities.* Provide training and guidance to internal teams and suppliers on organizational policies, relevant standards and compliance expectations.REQUIREMENTS:Degree in line with the proposed role* Willingness to study for and obtain auditor qualifications or international equivalents relevant to local laws and regulations* The ability/willingness to obtain DV security clearanceEssential requirements:* Strong stakeholder management skills* Excellent interpersonal skills* Decision-making skills* Problem-solving* Ability to work within a team* Work experience in multilateral and multicultural environments* At least 3 years of work experience in similar activities**Language skills: English C1****Seniority:** Junior**Primary Location:** IT - Roma - Via Montello**Contract Type:** Permanent**Hybrid Working:** Hybrid
