C++ Software Engineer
Area
The candidate is a C++ Software Engineer for development and maintenance of pre-existing codebase in C++11 in Linux environment, who will operate in a context of research and development of innovative solutions.
More specifically, the candidate will be assigned the following key responsibilities:
• Design, development and maintenance of complex software solutions using C++11, STL and boost libraries
• Development of distributed or Docker-based solutions
• Analysis of network traffic data in CSV, PCAP and other custom formats
The ideal candidate will have to meet the following requirements:
• Proven experience as a software engineer
• Knowledge in the use of Linux OS, system programming, multithreading
• GNU Linux C++ compiler, GDB, GPROF
• Knowledge of C++11 (at least), STL and/or boost libraries
• Skills in shell scripting, make
• Deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures to optimize performance and scalability
• Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
The following skills will be considered of additional value:
• Programming experience with network protocols such as TCP, UDP.
• Experience with development and analysis of raw network data: pcap files, tcpdump, Wireshark and libpcap.
• Development experience using messaging platforms, RabbitMQ or similar.
• Experience with git or other versioning systems
• Experience with devops, continuous integration configuration, gitlab
• Experience with Rust
• Experience with Java
• Experience in the cloud, preferably AWS
• Knowledge in telecommunications, mobile networks
• Experience with web application development and knowledge of front-end technologies
