Knowledge Specialist - Building and Fire Codes

ph3Job Description /h3 pAs our global footprint continues to grow, we are looking for an expert in Building and Fire regulations to support our Global Market Access (GMA) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Building and Fire compliance and providing consultancy on international regulatory issues. As a GMA Knowledge Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with global Building and Fire regulations and standards. You will play a key role in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and implementing solutions that support sustainable business practices. Although the role is based at our Italy offices, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in successfully implementing our Building and Fire Codes strategy internationally, supporting our clients in meeting their sustainability goals and accessing global markets. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pAs a UL GMA Knowledge Associate, you will: /p ul liKey expert contact for compliance requirements required to access specific countries and/or programs. /li liProvide point-of-access support to address any local acceptance issues. /li liTrack regulatory trends and communicate upcoming regulatory changes. /li liIdentify business opportunities and translate them in a simple manner to stakeholders from COU. /li liCoordinate research/studies including multiple products, regulations, countries independently. /li liSupports actions related to GMA business expansion scope, track opportunity and business results from COUs. /li liRead and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. /li liPerform other duties as directed. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Building and Fire Codes /li liDeep knowledge of the TIC business and the industries in which the business functions. /li liAble to connect the regulation rules with customer needs and business opportunities. /li liNatural influencing skills, confident and be able to deliver the message. /li liAbility to network and build relationship with internal and external stakeholders and lead/facilitate collaboration toward a common goal. /li liAble to deal in the ambiguity and take decisions, support customer in understanding their problem and provide valid solutions based on their knowledge schemes and past experiences. /li liExperienced and knowledgeable for specific areas of regulations. /li liExcellent in communication, able to summarize requirements and describe difficult concepts with easy words, network builder. /li liBachelor’s degree in Engineering or other specialization based on the specific coverage, preferred. /li /ul h3#Hybrid /h3 h3About Us /h3 pA global leader in applied safety science, UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS) transforms safety, security and sustainability challenges into opportunities for customers in more than 110 countries.
