The role

You will be one of the senior engineers in a squad of four to five, with a product manager and a designer. You will make the technical decisions for what the squad ships, own those decisions in production, and help the engineers around you get better. Impact is defined by vision and execution, not by age or title.

You will work across the whole stack. We expect you to be deep on one side and fluent enough on the other to ship a feature alone when needed. If you are a strong backend engineer who has never touched React , or a strong frontend engineer who has never written Python , apply: we hire for judgment and curiosity, and we will tailor the interviews to where you are strongest.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least one system you owned end to end. Years alone are not the requirement; the evidence is.
• You have shipped and operated systems that real users depended on, and you can tell us what broke, what it cost and what you changed.
• You use AI coding tools every day (Claude Code, Cursor or similar) and you can say precisely where they were wrong and how you caught it.
• You review other people’s code as a habit, and people get better from your reviews.

Our stack

Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend, Python ( Django and Django Ninja ) on the backend, Postgres and vector stores, LLM pipelines built on our own AI platform , deployed on the cloud with GitHub Actions. You do not need to know all of it. You need to be able to learn the part you don’t know in weeks, not quarters.

This role is probably not for you if

• You have never been responsible for something running in production.
• You want a well-defined ticket to implement and someone else to decide.
