As an Associate, you will work closely with senior bankers to drive client engagement, support the execution of strategic transactions, and contribute to the development of industry insights that underpin our client relationships. This position offers a unique opportunity to build a solid foundation in corporate and investment banking by gaining exposure to high-profile corporates, cross-border mandates, and dynamic industry sectors. /ph3About the job: /h3h3Business origination /h3pDevelop and prepare pitch materials, client presentations, and industry analysis to support senior bankers in new business origination. Conduct company valuations using methodologies such as DCF, trading multiples, and precedent transactions. Build and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic recommendations. Perform sector research, benchmarking, and peer comparisons to generate insights that inform strategic recommendations. /ph3Transaction execution /h3pAssist in the execution of live transactions across different solutions (MA, financing, and capital markets) alongside product teams. Contribute to internal approval processes, including preparation of materials for risk committees and transaction reviews. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met under tight deadlines. /ph3Management support /h3pHelp manage client relationships through follow-up tracking, targeting exercises, and preparation of tailored insights. Maintain client pipelines, internal databases, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce). Support internal committees with the preparation of business reviews, client coverage plans, and sector strategy materials. Monitor industry newsflow, earnings announcements, and macroeconomic developments, preparing concise digests for bankers. /ph3What we are looking for /h3pStrong academic background (Finance, Business, Engineering, or related fields). Demonstrated interest and/or experience in investment banking and corporate finance. Strong technical foundation, with proficiency in valuation techniques, Excel and PowerPoint, financial databases; financial modelling skills are an advantage. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly. Highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluency in English and Italian; other European languages are a plus. /ph3Salary and benefits /h3pThe annual fixed salary associated with the position starts at 62.040 € gross per annum.
