European Sales Manager

About the Role

As the Sales Manager you’ll be responsible for overseeing and manage the European sales team. You will ensure sales will grow and the team will develop and reach its goals.

It will be your responsibility to ensure sales representatives work at their best, with method and transparency, under your guidance and with the help of your example and your training, remotely and on the field.

It will also be your responsibility, knowing our position and markets need much business development, to help the team out in creating new opportunities and understand how to address each different territory in the best possible way with the help of our Sales Strategy team.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of sales, loves to convince people to do what benefits them, with direct and successful on the field experience in sales, business development, and in managing sales teams.

This person must be used in taking responsibility and be accountable in first person, have strong verbal and written communication skills, be patient, comprehensive yet adamant, tenacious and demanding when needed, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with changing dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support European Sales Representatives to maximize performance and professional development, both in office and on the field.
  • Monitor sales activities, pipeline management, and territory performance.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one and team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Promote collaboration and best-practice sharing across territories
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Europe.
  • Support the expansion into new customer segments and markets.
  • Work closely with sales representatives, Regional Manager and Strategy team to develop territory strategies and action plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and strategic accounts.
  • Contribute directly to major sales opportunities when needed.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market feedback.
  • Represent Anatomage at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and customer events.
  • Support product demonstrations and strategic customer meetings
  • Strengthen Anatomage's visibility and reputation across the European market.
  • Attend meetings in company's headquarters in USA as needed
  • Other assigned projects and duties when required

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Extremely high ethical sense in the professional practice.
  • Strong leadership skills and capabilities.
  • Team player, who is pro-active and owns accountability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: synthesis and clarity.
  • Previous experience managing, coaching, or mentoring sales teams.
  • Proficiency in managing diverse people and cultures.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • English language fluency.

Preferred Qualities We Look For

  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Experience in medical technology, life sciences, education technology, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of assigned territories.
  • Experience working with universities, schools, healthcare institutions, or public-sector organizations.
  • Additional European languages.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

  • 3+ years of proven experience in managing sales.
  • 10+ years in B2B sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economy, International Relations, Politics, Business Management, or related fields
