As a Lead Principal System Architect Engineer for ADAS/AD Compute in our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team, you work hand-in-hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting-edge designs, all while building long lasting partnerships that thrive on success. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Join a highly collaborative team where you will define the architecture of advanced ADAS and autonomous driving systems, ensuring safety, power efficiency, and security at the system level. You will lead cross-functional technical initiatives, influence future automotive solutions, and drive the development of innovative reference designs for next-generation vehicles.- Drive the system-level architecture for ADAS/AD compute applications by understanding the capabilities and roadmaps of high-performance ADAS SoCs and strategically position semiconductor products - including microcontrollers, power management ICs, gate drivers, sensors, to address safety, power, and security gaps that application SoCs alone cannot fulfill
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the complex multi-rail power supply architectures required to power high-performance ADAS and Cockpit SoCs, to address SoC-specific power sequencing requirements, voltage accuracy, transient response, power integrity, thermal management, and functional safety requirements (ASIL-B/D) for power supply monitoring and supervision
- Lead technical discussions and convert findings into clear application strategies and bluebook readouts for ADAS/AD compute applications
- Collaborate closely with internal business line stakeholders, including Product Engineering, Product Marketing, to understand customer’s pain-points and shape future ADAS/AD domain solutions
- Develop technical concepts by capturing global requirements, including system cost, and support innovation and G2M concepts to provide differentiated system reference designs
- Manage a cross-divisional system competence team of engineers and marketing people to derive specific product requirements across all Business Lines at ATV
- A degree in Electronic Engineering, Informatics or equivalent field of studies
- At least 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, including proven experience as a System Architect, preferably within the ADAS/AD Compute domain
- Proven experience in managing cross-divisional teams including technical experts, product marketing and technical marketing experts and to form a winning team to drive the whole application area
- Strong interpersonal and technical skills to build, organize, and lead high-performing global cross-functional teams
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to evaluate different options and to derive product requirements
- Fluent English skills
- Subject to meeting all job requirements, belonging to protected categories under Law 68⁄99 will be considered a preferential requirement
