We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About the role:As a Senior Accountant, you will help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of corporate financial data. You will be responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and oversight of accounting outcomes produced by other teams. We are looking for accounting knowledge, the ability to coordinate across multiple remote internal partners, and responsibility for period‑end close processes to deliver accurate financial information.You will report to the GAC Manager and be located in Monfalcone, Italy. This is a hybrid role based in Monfalcone, Italy, with a requirement to work onsite 2 to 3 days per week.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Local GAAP, and company accounting policies in all journal booking activitiesPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual GL journal entries and support month‑end close processes to ensure all required entries are posted accuratelyPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with relevant teamsOversee financial accounting outcomes of business processes performed by other teams, including Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, consumable inventories, HR payables, and intercompany invoicingEnsure timely and accurate completion of statutory and statistical reporting, including Intrastat, Istat, Banca d'Italia, and related requirementsSupport Global Treasury activities, including bank reconciliations and weekly and month‑end cash forecastingSupport Global Tax by providing requested financial informationSupport the statutory financial statements preparation process and support internal and external auditsConduct ad hoc financial analysesCoordinate with shared services, global finance teams, and remote partners to resolve accounting issues and ensure smooth financial closeQualifications:University Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or similar+5 years of experience in accounting or financial rolesExperience within multinational companies, business consulting or audit services, familiarity with standardized financial processes and shared business teamsUSA and ITALIAN GAAP knowledgeFluent in Italian and proficient in English Daily use of Excel and ERP SystemsWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
