Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators) have Space to Connect, Secure Defend, Observe Protect, Explore, Travel Navigate. /p pWe are looking for a Satellite IVVQ RF ENGINEER. /p h3Technical Requirements Management /h3 ul liTechnical requirements management, from specification tree to relationships between the various layers of a complex system (platform, payload, satellite, E2E). /li liFamiliarity with DOORS or Polarion requirements management tool. /li liFamiliarity with flow‑down concepts, traceability, change/deviation impact analysis and related documentation (Traceability matrix, CR/CN, RFD/W). /li liFamiliarity with ECSS standard. /li liFamiliarity with project development documentation (DDP), model philosophy and compliance matrices. /li liAptitude for co‑engineering with the project team to ensure integrity, clarity and completeness of the requirements database, as well as verifiability. /li /ul h3Verification Engineering /h3 ul liDifferentiation between verification plans for qualification or acceptance, knowledge of various verification approaches in case of EM/EQM development models, QM qualification, PFM proto‑qualification, FM acceptance/flight. /li liKnowledge of ECSS standards in verification and testing. /li liDefinition of verification methods applicable to each requirement (SAR payload part, PDHT, TTC) and management of verification control document (VCD/DVCM). /li liFamiliarity with DOORS/Polarion and engineering practices for verification activities. /li liSupport management of internal and customer‑facing boards for verification validation (VCB). /li liAptitude for co‑engineering with the project team and AIT, to ensure completeness of verification data and clarity in evidence for requirements closure. /li /ul h3Test Requirements and Evaluation of Results /h3 ul liAbility to define test requirements as required for various project requirements. /li liAptitude for co‑engineering with project team and AIT, to define implementation details and test execution phases. /li liDefinition of test plan (TP) in SAR, PDHT, TTC integrated satellite level, ability to manage any changes; analysis and evaluation of the AIT business plan. /li liFamiliarity with DOORS/Polarion and engineering practices for test verification consolidation. /li liParticipation in the test campaign, including overseas. /li liTest validation with drafting of evaluation reports (Test Evaluation Report). /li liSupporting the completion and closure of the verification cycle through final VCDs and VCBs. /li liSupporting the definition of a test plan (SAR, PDHT, TTC scope) for a satellite launch campaign. /li /ul pEducation: Engineering Degree. /p pLocation: Rome. /p pSeniority level: Not Applicable. /p pEmployment type: Full‑time. /p pJob function: Engineering and Information Technology. /p pIndustries: Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing; Defense and Space Manufacturing. /p pReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Thales by 2x. /p pGet notified about new Radio Frequency Engineer jobs in Rome, Latium, Italy. /p pAt Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS, not only jobs.
