Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible. /p h3Your role /h3 pWe are looking for a Manager of Signal Processing to lead and evolve our signal processing organization for next many generations of Nuance hearing glasses. This role is responsible for both classical DSP and AI‑driven audio processing, combining deep technical leadership with organizational development. Together with your teams, you will shape the algorithm roadmap, team structure, and development processes. Ensuring scalable, high‑performance solutions tightly integrated with embedded firmware and product architecture. The role operates across multiple sites and works closely with firmware, product and project management, audiology, and systems architecture teams. /p pThe role reports to head of RD Hearing solutions, a team in the global RD and Wearables category that focuses on the Nuance hearing glasses. Role is part of the Hearing solution leadership team. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and grow classical DSP and AI‑based signal processing teams, with today approx. 20 people /li liDefine team structure, roles, and ownership /li liOwn the signal processing strategy across classical DSP and AI‑based audio processing /li liHelp evolve audio prototyping, verification and testing tools roadmap /li liDrive integration into embedded platforms and collaborate with firmware teams /li liArchitecture System Integration: Drive process to ensure stable signal processing architecture supporting product and feature roadmap. Contribute to system‑level design decision. /li liGrow a global team and foster cross‑team collaboration. /li liEstablish scalable processes for development, validation, and deployment. /li liEmbody a culture of driving simplification and fast decisions. /li liWork closely with Project management, Product Management, Audiology, Hardware and Firmware teams. /li /ul h3Main Requirements /h3 ul liMSc or PhD in Signal Processing, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field /li li8–12+ years of experience in embedded audio signal processing or related domain /li liProven leadership experience managing and growing technical teams /li liFluency in English; additional languages are a plus. /li liStructured and pragmatic mindset /li liAble to balance short‑term deliverables and the long‑term view /li liStrong systems thinking and outstanding signal processing knowledge /li liClear and transparent communicator across teams, borders and stakeholders /li liPace‑setting /li liExperience in hearing aids or medical devices is a nice to have /li liHave experience of leading leaders is a nice to have /li /ul h3What’s In It For You /h3 pIn EssilorLuxottica, you are not defined just by your job title.
