Senior Legal Counsel

The Palace Company Europe is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Legal Department .

Reporting directly to the Legal Director, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the Company’s business areas in the management of corporate, contractual and compliance matters , providing legal advice and support across both national and international operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Management and supervision of the entire Corporate Secretariat and the deadlines of the various Italian and foreign entities of the group, including the preparation of documentation for Boards of Directors and Shareholders' Meetings;

• Provide legal support, even independently, to corporate functions (operations, procurement, marketing, real estate) in the field of civil, commercial and corporate law;

• Independently draft, review and negotiate contracts relating to hotel management, lease and rental of business units, supply of goods and services, commercial agreements;

• Coordinate the opening and development of new facilities;

• Monitor the regulatory evolution of the sector (tourism, consumer protection, privacy) and guide the company in the adaptation processes;

• Coordinate the management of litigation with the professionals in charge, together with the management of client claims;

• Overseeing corporate compliance activities , including the Organisational Models pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 and group policies, also supporting their strategic updating;

• Manage privacy issues , coordinating with the Company's parent company and other internal privacy functions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law and at least 8-10 years' experience in the legal departments of structured companies, preferably in the real estate or retail sector, or in leading law firms with a focus on these sectors;

• Excellent knowledge of civil, commercial and corporate law, with proven operational autonomy and result orientation;

• Consolidated experience in the management of contracts, even in cross-border contexts;

• Solid knowledge of the main issues of corporate secretary, corporate governance and compliance;

• Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken; Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.

What we offer:

• Full-time contract with a gross annual salary in the range of €55,000–€58,000 will be offered, depending on the candidate’s seniority and experience;
