Medical Director - Neurology

In this role you will lead medical strategy and guidance for neurology programs within ICON, ensuring ethical, compliant and high-impact clinical research. You will collaborate with sponsors, sites, and cross-functional teams to shape protocol medical issues and safety reviews, while contributing to investigator meetings and business development. You drive medical leadership, enable efficient operations, and help advance neurological therapies at a global CRO. - Guide project teams on clinical issues ensuring studies meet ethical and legal standards
- Provide therapeutic and drug development expertise; interact with sponsors and sites on protocol medical issues
- Contribute to investigator meeting presentations, review study documentation, oversee safety data reviews, support business development
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent)
- Board Certification in Neurology
- Minimum 2 years in Clinical Research in academia, pharma/biotech/CRO
- Strong ability to review and evaluate clinical data; excellent oral and written communication
- Proven medical leadership and consultation experience in pharma/biotech; regulatory/ethical know-how
- Willingness to travel ~10%
