Digital Services Operation Specialist

ppbD-Orbit /b is looking for a bDigital Services Operation Specialist /b to join our bSpace Cloud Business Unit /b based in bFino Mornasco /b. You will become part of a dynamic growing group responsible for the bend-to-end delivery of Space Cloud services /b, acting as the primary operational interface between customers, internal engineering teams, and business stakeholders. The role owns the successful execution of customer missions from contract signature through service completion, ensuring delivery on time, quality, and within budget. /p pYou will also work with the team to support and manage the software integration of algorithms and applications within our fleet of Intelligent Network Nodes (INNs), development of operational procedures and features, contribute to the development of new tools/applications as well as defining new processes to support Space Cloud infrastructure for all current and future INNs. /p h3Tasks and Responsibilities /h3 ul liResponsible for customer journey, starting from contract signature until completion of the contract. /li liSupport integration and verification activities between customer applications and Space Cloud infrastructure. /li liLead onboarding and technical discussions with customers to identify needs and perform requirements breakdown, operational objectives and delivery milestones. /li liPromote customer satisfaction while protecting D-Orbit's commercial and operational interests. /li liAdaptive and intuitive approach to solving issues with scheduling conflicts and administrative tasks. /li liManage and schedule operations on Space Cloud infrastructure by interacting with the Flight Operations team. Both on ground and in-orbit. /li liGather and manage monthly logs and service statistics. /li liIdentify and implement service performance improvements through processes or product requests. /li liExecute service operation procedures (e.g sending customer the SDK, validating customer application on the EM, scheduling ops, sending final results to customers, etc.) /li liProactively review service operations procedures; maintain and update them for continuous improvement. /li liAbility to meet bespoke contract elements such as new technology integration and operation cocktails. /li liContributing to the continuous improvement of team processes and methodologies through development of new tools and applications with key stakeholders. /li /ul h3Qualifications And Requirements /h3 ul liResilience and ability to work in a fast paced environment. /li liAbility to work hard in a team setting to meet tight schedules. /li liAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively. /li liAt least 2 years’ experience in relevant cloud or digital infrastructure management activities. /li liFamiliarity with using any Linux based distribution and appreciation of application development on Windows and Linux. /li liFamiliarity with typical software development methodologies and release versioning processes. (e.g. Git/Mercurial and CI/CD pipelines) /li liUnderstanding of typical Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) to ensure back-end processes complement the front-end interface. /li liWorking knowledge of Python programming language. Ability to inspect Python scripts, understand their structure and debug high level operations /li liCapability of working autonomously. /li liComplimentary experience and or skills to the above will be considered. /li liExperience with test-driven development. /li /ul h3Nice to have skills /h3 ul liExperience with software development sprint management /li liExperience with software development time/cost estimations /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor's degree in any relevant area such as aerospace engineering, electronic engineering, computer science or automation, software development, with proven experience in participating in projects development. /p h3Language /h3 pFull professional proficiency of English language is mandatory. /p pWe offer a base salary range of 35’000€ - 45’000€ gross per year for this role, depending on experience and location, plus a performance-based variable component.
