This role is primarily focused on sustaining engineering activities for released products, including troubleshooting and resolving field and manufacturing issues, supporting component lifecycle management, maintaining design documentation, improving product reliability, and contributing to hardware and software updates. This role provides opportunities for continued professional growth while contributing independently to sustaining engineering activities across all EBR’s commercial product /h3 h3ESSENTIAL AND OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: /h3 h3Essential Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liInvestigate and resolve electrical, electronic, and system-level issues in released products, including customer complaints, and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. /li liAssess component obsolescence and qualify alternative components to ensure product reliability and supply continuity. /li liDevelop and implement design, process, material, or test specification changes that improve product quality, reliability, manufacturability, and service support. /li liDesign and implement test system hardware upgrades, including instrumentation, fixture improvements, data acquisition systems, and communication interfaces. /li liMaintain technical and design control documentation, including drawings, test results, traceability records, and change‑related documentation. /li /ul h3Other Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform other duties as assigned /li /ul h3SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: /h3 pNone /p h3QUALIFICATIONS: /h3 h3Education and Required Experience: /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, or related field. /li liMinimum 2 years of experience in related role /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: /h3 ul liExperience with root cause analysis. /li liExperience with electrical or embedded systems troubleshooting. /li liAbility to analyze system behavior, troubleshoot software and firmware issues, and contribute to the development, testing, and validation of embedded solutions. /li liExperience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other laboratory test equipment. /li liExperience with test software development using Matlab or Python. /li liLead cross-functional discussions to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. /li liCuriosity, persistence, and comfort working through ambiguity. /li liWillingness to ask questions and learn from failures. /li /ul h3Physical Requirements /h3 ul liRequired to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. /li liRequired to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 20 pounds. /li liSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. /li liSubject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing, vision to monitor, and moderate noise levels. /li /ul pbSalary Range /b$110,000 - 125,000* /p p*Base pay is one part of your total compensation. The salary offered will depend on several factors, including, but not limited to your experience, knowledge, skills, location, internal equity, and market alignment.
