Senior Backend Developer - Java & Spring Boot

In a fast-paced development environment focused on growth and innovation, you will be responsible for translating requirements into code to create, improve and maintain high-quality software.

In particular, you will:

• Promote the adoption of best practices to elevate code quality and solution effectiveness, while positively influencing the engineering culture.
• Write, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance code, working in an Agile environment and collaborating with developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects.
• Independently design solutions and actively contribute to their development, providing innovative ideas aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and resolve bugs through testing to ensure a stable and reliable product.

What skills are we looking for?

• At least 4⁄5 years of proven experience in backend development;
• Solid knowledge of Java and Spring Framework;
• Good knowledge of Kotlin or interest in learning it;
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, as well as non-relational databases such as MongoDB;
• Familiarity with microservices architectures, REST APIs, and messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ/AMQP, Kafka, SQS);
• Proven experience using modern AI coding assistants effectively; 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field;
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 level).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker and containerization, and knowledge of Kubernetes;
• Familiarity with React.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
