Quality Engineer

pWe are looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join our team for our Quality Assurance Department in Cameri, Strada Provincial MFG DIST, Italy. /p pIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: /p ul lipAct as the primary quality liaison between customers and the manufacturing plant, building strong relationships and ensuring customer concerns are addressed quickly, professionally, and effectively. /p /li lipDrive rapid containment and resolution of customer quality issues, minimizing disruption to customers while protecting the company’s reputation and customer satisfaction levels. /p /li lipLead structured root cause investigations using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, A3, Kaizen, and Ishikawa to identify, validate, and eliminate recurring quality problems. /p /li lipImplement robust corrective and preventive actions that improve product quality, reduce customer complaints, and enhance overall operational performance. /p /li lipChampion a customer-focused quality culture across the plant by promoting quality awareness, accountability, and proactive problem-solving among cross-functional teams. /p /li lipCollaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to identify quality risks early and implement sustainable improvements. /p /li lipSupport customer audits, quality reviews, and performance meetings by providing data-driven insights, demonstrating compliance, and strengthening customer confidence in the organization. /p /li lipContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce customer PPM, lower the cost of non-quality, improve customer scorecard ratings, accelerate 8D closure times, and increase overall customer satisfaction. /p /li /ul pEducation/Expierence: /p ul lipBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. /p /li lipMinimum of 3 years’ experience within Automotive Quality or Manufacturing Quality, with a proven track record of supporting quality performance and customer satisfaction. /p /li lipExperience managing customer relationships, customer complaints, and leading structured problem-solving activities to resolve quality issues effectively. /p /li lipStrong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards, including IATF 16949 and the five Quality Core Tools: APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC. /p /li lipExperience within Automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers, with exposure to driveline components, axles, gears, castings, machining, forging, assembly operations, or similar manufacturing environments. /p /li /ul pTo be successful in the role you will need the following: /p ul lipStrong expertise in quality management tools and methodologies, including root cause analysis, risk assessment, statistical analysis, and quality management systems, to effectively resolve customer and product quality issues. /p /li lipExcellent communication, customer relationship, and conflict management skills to build trust with customers, influence cross-functional teams, and manage challenging situations professionally. /p /li lipA results-driven and analytical mindset, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure, interpret quality data, and drive timely corrective and preventive actions. /p /li lipFluency in both Italian and English, combined with strong leadership and continuous improvement capabilities, to effectively support customers, collaborate across teams, and drive sustainable quality improvements. /p /li /ul pbJob /b Quality /p pbOrganization /b Cummins Inc. /p pbRole Category /b On-site with Flexibility /p pbJob Type /b Exempt - Experienced /p pbMin Salary /b €29120 /p pbMax Salary /b €43680 /p pbReqID /b /p pbRelocation Package /b No /p pb100% On-Site /b No /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
