Scientific Research Assistant - Animal Health

Responsabilità

• support the work of the Animal Health team in topics including Vector-borne diseases such as Rift Valley Fever;
• extracting and monitoring epidemiological data submitted by external stakeholders to the Unit;
• presenting data in figures & tables;
• performing a descriptive statistical analysis;
• writing summaries of the results and the statistical analysis;
• writing meeting minutes;
• contributing to timely and effective planning to meet priorities and deadlines within the work programme of the Unit.

• Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);
• Master's degree in Animal Health, Epidemiology or related areas;
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in collecting and collating evidence in the area of animal diseases and product treatments;
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel;
• Working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy.
