Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Banking and Capital Markets Specialism Operations Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary Our Advisory practice is looking for a Tech Consultant with a focus on Blockchain & Digital Assets to support the growth of our services. In this role, you will work with leading Financial Services institutions and fintech innovators, supporting them in the analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise infrastructures based on DLT and blockchain, as well as in the integration of digital asset solutions.

About the Team

The Blockchain & Digital Assets Competence Center supports clients in adopting DLT and blockchain technologies, guiding them through a journey that spans from strategy definition to the implementation and transformation of IT solutions. We work on innovative initiatives — from institutional custody to digital asset tokenization — with a strong focus on enterprise architectures and integrations.

Your Impact

The ideal candidate combines strong technical foundations with a consulting mindset: the ability to structure complex problems, translate business requirements into technical implementations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support the definition of target architectures and evolution roadmaps for blockchain-based platforms, with a focus on web and server-side solutions.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of full-stack components (backend, frontend, and integrations with third‑party providers).
• Participate in the lifecycle management of IT projects in the blockchain and DLT space, supporting activities from scope definition to delivery.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders, helping ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation and tender specifications (RFPs).
• Monitor emerging trends in Web3, DeFi, and asset tokenization, contributing to the evaluation of their practical applications.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and applied research activities within the Competence Center.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in IT or technology projects.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technologies and platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or Corda).
• Knowledge of core blockchain concepts such as smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and the UTXO model.
• Familiarity with smart contract development or review (e.g., Solidity) and understanding of key security principles.
• Understanding of integration methods with blockchain systems.
• Familiarity with the use of terminal environments and command-line interface (CLI) tools.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js for backend services or application integrations.
• Experience using and testing REST, RPC, and WebSocket APIs.
• Ability to understand full-stack application architectures and interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including security and infrastructure teams.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity toward emerging technologies, and ability to work in teams.
• Interest in working in a consulting environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with blockchain development tools (Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry or similar).
• Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to digital assets (e.g., MiCA, TFR).
• Familiarity with real-world asset tokenization solutions.
• Basic knowledge of cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with token standards (ERC‑20, ERC‑721, ERC‑1155).
• Basic knowledge of software testing practices, Test‑Driven Development (TDD), DevOps, and the use of AI agents from the terminal.
• Certifications or courses in project management, blockchain, or cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
