Solution Designer

The Solution Designer / IT Integrator is responsible for translating business objectives, functional requirements and non-functional requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable end-to-end technical solutions.

The role acts as the bridge between Business, Architecture and Engineering, ensuring technical coherence across systems, applications, integrations and data flows while supporting successful delivery outcomes.

The Solution Designer / IT Integrator drives solution feasibility, end-to-end design, technical alignment and implementation governance throughout the initiative lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Solution Analysis

• Analyse business requirements, Epics and User Stories.
• Support shaping and feasibility activities.
• Perform impact assessments across applications, services and business processes.
• Ensure traceability between requirements and technical implementation.

Solution Design

• Design end-to-end technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Define integration patterns, APIs, events, data flows and system interactions.
• Produce solution documentation and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with security, resilience and operational requirements.

Delivery Support

• Support backlog refinement and User Story decomposition.
• Collaborate with development teams during implementation.
• Drive technical decision-making and design reviews.
• Support testing, deployment and production readiness activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers and Business stakeholders.
• Manage technical dependencies across squads and domains.
• Facilitate workshops and solution alignment sessions.
• Communicate risks, assumptions and constraints.

Quality & Governance

• Promote engineering excellence and best practices.
• Ensure alignment with architecture, security and compliance standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support operational stability and problem resolution activities.

Education & General Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least 6 years of experience in the role
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong customer-centric mindset.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Contract offer:

Working conditions : Permanent employment contract

Working hours: Full time (37 hours per week)

Applicable Collective Labour Agreement: National Collective Labour Agreement for employees in the credit sector (NCLA)

Location : Milan (hybrid)

Starting annual base salary: 50.000€

Variable remuneration : in line with the applicable remuneration policies (with a target based on the role, outcomes linked to the Group, Business line/function and individual performance)
