As Product Engineer at Vertiv, you will support and improve large power products and systems to meet company goals, customer needs, and industry standards. You collaborate with engineering, service, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. You assist testing by developing plans and evaluating results, and review field data to identify root causes. You contribute to R&D and lessons learned, and provide timely updates to stakeholders. - Define product specifications in collaboration with engineering divisions
- Assist testing with test plans and results evaluation
- Prepare technical documentation including drawings and component specifications
- Analyze field data to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with product development, quality assurance, and customer support to prioritize and resolve issues
- Contribute to lessons learned for new projects
- Provide progress, risk, and solution updates to stakeholders
- Participate in R&D and engineering lab tests
- Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
- 3+ years in datacenter operations, UPS, or power conversion (preferred)
- Background in sustaining engineering, technical support, or product maintenance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting
- Root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Proficiency with engineering design tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Strong planning, analysis, and communicationCollaborative team player; customer-oriented; willingness to travel
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience in technical documentation and test procedures
- Travel required occasionally (20–30%), including international NPDI reviews
