In this role you will shape Prysmian’s sustainability proposition across Transmission products, aligning with market needs and regulations. You will drive cross-functional roadmaps, engage customers during early project stages, and push eco-friendly solutions through the product portfolio. You will monitor trends, perform analyses, and represent Prysmian in industry forums to influence sustainability practices. • Scout market for emerging sustainability trends, initiatives, and regulations and benchmark against internal and industry practices
• Drive the Sustainability Roadmap across Transmission products (HVDC, submarine HVAC, submarine Telecom, Installation services)
• Ensure sustainability propositions are implemented across the product portfolio to meet market requirements
• Promote sustainable solutions during pre-ITT/FEED stages and define go‑to‑market for Prysmian sustainability initiatives
• Oversee sustainable developments across transmission roadmaps to reduce green‑premium costs and maximize avoided emissions
• Monitor market, gather data, and perform competitive benchmarking on sustainability performance (carbon, social, biodiversity)
• Engage with customers during pre-ITT/FEED to present the sustainability offering
• Prepare techno‑economical analyses for different sustainability solutions
• Represent Prysmian and BU Transmission in cable associations on EU sustainability law
• Guide internal stakeholders in identifying R&D sustainability projects aligned to company strategy
• Provide product and pricing information to Sales Managers
• Convey market data and competitive analysis to the organization

Responsabilità

• 3 years of experience in sustainability management, environmental consulting, or related field
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering or related disciplines
• Specialization/Master in Environmental Science and Sustainability is a plus
• Strong understanding of sustainability topics (carbon footprint, LCA, circular economy) and frameworks (GHG Protocol, PAS 2080)
• Business and marketing skills (macroeconomics, cost/price structures, financial metrics)
• Excellent presentation skills and customer‑facing fluency
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Decision making, critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
• Strong teamwork, results‑oriented, ambitious mindset
• Availability to travel (1 week/month)
