ppThe Interior Design Director, Italy is responsible for leading the design vision, development, and delivery of interior design projects across the Italian portfolio. This role ensures that projects are delivered on brand, on budget, and in alignment with the highest standards of luxury hospitality design. /p pWorking closely with Project Directors, General Managers, Operations, Procurement, and external consultants, the Interior Design Director provides creative leadership from concept through completion, safeguarding design quality while balancing operational, technical, and commercial objectives. /p pThe role plays a key part in preserving and enhancing the distinct character of each property while ensuring consistency with the overall brand vision and guest experience. /p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liLead the creative development and execution of interior design projects across the Italian portfolio. /li liEstablish and communicate the design vision, narrative, and guest experience strategy for assigned projects. /li liReview and approve design concepts, material palettes, FFE selections, lighting, styling, artwork, and decorative elements. /li liEnsure that projects reflect the property's heritage, local context, and brand standards. /li /ul h3Project Delivery /h3 ul liCollaborate closely with Project Directors and Construction teams throughout the project lifecycle. /li liOversee design development from concept and schematic design through detailed design, procurement, installation, and project close-out. /li liEnsure design milestones are achieved in accordance with agreed project schedules. /li liProvide design oversight during construction and installation phases, resolving design-related issues efficiently. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liPartner with General Managers and Operations teams to understand operational needs and guest experience objectives. /li liBuild strong relationships with external interior designers, architects, consultants, artists, and suppliers. /li liPresent design concepts and project updates to senior leadership and project steering committees. /li liAct as the primary design representative for Italian projects. /li /ul h3FFE and Procurement /h3 ul liLead the review and approval of all FFE and OSE specifications. /li liSupport procurement strategies to ensure quality, value, and schedule objectives are achieved. /li liCollaborate with procurement teams on supplier selection, prototype reviews, and value engineering exercises. /li liEnsure procurement decisions support the overall design intent and project budget. /li liManage design scope within approved project budgets. /li liSupport project budgeting, forecasting, and cost management activities. /li liParticipate in value engineering initiatives while protecting design integrity and guest experience standards. /li liContribute to capital planning and project prioritization discussions. /li /ul h3Innovation Brand Development /h3 ul liMonitor global luxury hospitality, residential, art, and lifestyle trends. /li liIdentify opportunities to enhance guest experience through innovative design solutions. /li liContribute to the evolution of design standards, guidelines, and processes. /li liChampion sustainability, responsible sourcing, and thoughtful preservation of heritage assets. /li /ul h3Key Performance Indicators /h3 ul liDelivery of projects on time, on budget, and on brand. /li liQuality of completed guest experience and design outcomes. /li liStakeholder satisfaction and project team collaboration. /li liEffective management of FFE budgets and procurement. /li liPreservation and enhancement of each property's unique identity. /li /ul pThe Interior Design Director, Italy is responsible for leading the design vision, development, and delivery of interior design projects across the Italian portfolio.
