The resource will join the backend team of an established B2B e-commerce platform built on SAP Commerce (Hybris) , serving multiple international markets. The role involves maintaining and evolving a production system that combines standard SAP Commerce capabilities with a significant layer of custom extensions and integrations. The candidate will work on change requests, bug fixing, API development and system enhancements, contributing to the continuous evolution of the platform while ensuring stability, quality and maintainability. The position requires a strong understanding of existing application behavior and close collaboration with Agile teams to deliver business requirements efficiently and reliably. - 1–2 years of experience as a Backend Java Developer
- Solid knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Basic experience with the Spring Framework
- Understanding of REST API concepts, including methods, status codes and request/response structures
- Experience developing and maintaining backend services and integrations
- Working knowledge of SQL, including queries, joins and relational database concepts
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows (branches, commits, pull requests)
- Ability to investigate issues, analyze system behavior and contribute to troubleshooting activities
- Strong knowledge of English (C1 level)
- Exposure to SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), even through coursework, training or personal projects
- Familiarity with e-commerce concepts such as catalog management, pricing and checkout
- Basic knowledge of OAuth2 and Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts
- Experience with Docker for local development environments
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
