Junior Accountant

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Junior Accountant to join our growing International team based in Milan. This role plays a critical role in the daily financial management of our international operations, with a focus on driving process improvements and supporting scalable growth. You’ll be responsible for processing invoices (AP/AR) and assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial operations that support business performance. We’re seeking someone with a solid foundation in financial accounting—ideally with experience in reporting under Italian GAAP or IFRS—and a willingness to get involved at all levels. In this role, you will be challenged to drive the success of Evolus in an effort to build a brand like no other. /p h3Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role: /h3 ul liManage daily cash reconciliations, including allocating an increasing volume of customer receipts. /li liSupport the Accounts Payable (AP) function by: /li liRecording and reconciling vendor transactions /li liInvestigating and resolving discrepancies in vendor statements /li liEnsuring expenses are accurately recognized and recorded in the general ledger /li liPreparing weekly AP payments and forecasting cash outflows /li liProducing ad-hoc reports for management as needed /li liMaintaining vendor accounts (e.g. supporting new vendor setup, reviewing payment terms, and updating records) /li liContribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reviews for both balance sheet and income statement accounts. /li liSupport external audits and annual statutory accounts, where required across international territories. /li liAssist with the implementation and execution of SOX-compliant procedures to ensure strong internal controls. /li liPrepare accurate and timely journal entries. /li liPartner with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, building effective working relationships across departments. /li liGet involved in finance and accounting projects, contributing to ongoing initiatives and improvements. /li liTake ownership of your tasks, with a focus on documenting detailed workflows for clarity and consistency. /li liContinuously seek opportunities to improve processes, offering ideas and helping to drive efficiencies in your areas of responsibility. /li /ul h3Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member: /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field /li liRelevant professional qualification (e.g. Dottore Commercialista, or in progress) is a plus /li liExperience in a SOX-compliant or US-listed company environment is desirable /li liPrevious experience in a similar role or within a fast-paced, international organization is a plus — but not essential /li liStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills /li liClear and effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset /li liComfortable working independently, using initiative and good judgment /li liEngaging and team-oriented, thrives in small, cross-functional environments /li liHigh level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills /li liMotivated to grow with the company and embrace change in a dynamic setting /li liWilling and enthusiastic about contributing at all levels of the business /li /ul h3A Few Other Items Worth Mentioning: /h3 ul liLocation: Milan, Italy, with a flexible hybrid work model to support work-life balance. /li liReporting Line: This role reports to the International Financial Controller, based in Milan, ensuring close collaboration with global leadership. /li /ul h3Compensation Total Rewards /h3 pWe offer more than just a paycheck—our benefits are designed to support your well‑being, success, and future growth.
