Learn more at iongroup.com. /p h3Your role: /h3 pAs a General Ledger Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial accounting processes. You will manage general ledger activities, support closing and reporting cycles, and contribute to statutory, consolidated, and tax‑related requirements. /p h3Your key duties and responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure accurate and timely general ledger accounting in compliance with OIC and IFRS standards /li liRecord, classify, and reconcile financial transactions /li liSupport monthly and annual closing processes /li liContribute to the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements /li liCollaborate with auditors, consultants, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders /li liAnalyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities /li liSupport the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting procedures (SAP preferred) /li liContribute to HR‑related accounting activities (e.g., payroll postings) /li /ul h3Other duties /h3 pYou may be asked to support additional finance-related tasks as your role evolves. /p h3Your skills, experience, and qualifications required /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Accounting and Finance (preferably with honors) /li li3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in structured environments or consulting firms (Big 4) /li liIn-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and international standards (IFRS) /li liStrong understanding of Italian tax regulations /li liFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) /liliProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools /li liAccuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail /li liGood communication skills and a collaborative mindset /li liFluency in Italian and good knowledge of English /li /ul h3What we offer: /h3 pPermanent employment contract. /p h3Location: /h3 pMilan /p h3Important notes: /h3 pAccording to the Italian Law (L.68/99) please note that candidates from the disability list will be given priority. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
