For more information, please visit /p h3Main Responsabilities /h3 ul liAct as the technical lead for complex production issues and escalations /li liLead troubleshooting activities for critical incidents and major outages /li liCoordinate root cause analysis with Engineering, QA, Architecture and DevOps teams /li liPromote operational stability, risk mitigation, and service reliability /li liCollaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects and other project stakeholders /li liProvide technical leadership to a team of developers, coordinating day-to-day activities and assigning Jira tickets and tasks. /li liPerform complex troubleshooting on the most critical and non-standard issues (e.g., performance incidents, service degradations), leveraging monitoring and observability tools (dashboards, alerts, logs, metrics, traces) to quickly identify and resolve root causes. /li liAvailability for 24/7 support to manage and prevent system downtime. /li liParticipate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement processes. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liStrong experience in Application Support or Production Support roles /li liSolid background in enterprise backend systems and distributed architectures /li liProven experience handling high‑severity production incidents /li liStrong team leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members and proactively manage and resolve internal conflicts /li liAbility to investigate logs, metrics, and system behaviour to isolate root causes /li liAbility to understand and review complex codebases /li liExperience with Docker/Kubernetes development. /li liExperience with Spring Boot development. /li liKnowledge of RESTful services. /li liKnowledge of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL; optionally DB2, Oracle). /li liKnowledge of JMS (preferably ActiveMQ Artemis). /li liExperience with Agile development processes. /li liFluent in English. /li /ul h3Nice To Have /h3 ul lifamiliarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management). /li /ul h3Qualification /h3 pMaster’s degree in engineering computer science or a related area. /p h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liAbility to work in a team and interact with other departments. /li liStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage tasks autonomously. /li liProactive and self-motivated. /li liWillingness to work in regulated, high-reliability environments. /li liClear and effective communication, especially under pressure /li liAbility to prioritize and make decisions in critical situations /li /ul h3Success Profile /h3 ul liLeading Complexity /li liLeading People /li liLeading the Business /li liLeading Self /li /ul pThis information reflects Brightstar Lottery’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of publication.
