Grid Connection Engineer

The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,9 operational and + 0,7 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW. /ppbr/ppWe are seeking an bGrid Connection Engineer /b to support our ongoing and future projects in Italy. /ppbr/ppbWhat will you help with? /b /pulliManagement of the entire grid connection process, including communication with grid operators (e-distribuzione, Terna, etc.); /liliDrafting and submission of medium and high voltage grid connection applications; /liliAnalysis of technical outcomes (STMG/STMD) and verification of technical feasibility; /liliSupport during the development and permitting phases of projects, with a focus on electrical aspects; /liliCollaboration with legal, permitting, and project management teams; /liliEstimating costs and scheduling activities related to grid interconnection works; /liliCoordination with designers and support in designing connection-side systems; /liliSupport in preparing tender processes for grid interconnection works, including defining the scope of work, reviewing bids, and selecting contractors; /liliEvaluation of offers and follow-up during the tendering process; /liliSupport in preparing contracts to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with OPDENERGY’s requirements; /liliManagement and supervision of engineering and construction activities related to grid connection works, in coordination with Project Managers and Site Engineers; /liliParticipation in key phases of commissioning; /liliPerforming site surveys and audits during construction. /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements: /b /pulliDegree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field; /liliAt least 2–3 years of previous experience in the field of electrical connections for renewable energy plants; /liliProven experience in the construction of HV substations; /liliProven experience in the construction of grid works with E-distribuzione; /liliKnowledge of the Italian Grid Connection Process (and TICA); /liliExcellent knowledge of the technical regulations for grid connection in Italy and processes with Terna and local distributors; /liliAbility to read and understand electrical diagrams, project drawings, and technical documentation; /liliGood knowledge of electrical design software and Microsoft Office package; /liliProactive mindset, autonomy, and a strong team-working attitude; /liliWritten and spoken English proficiency.
